At work

I began working in financial services in 2017 having spent 10 years in estate agency. I quickly gained my DipFA qualification while beginning my career as a paraplanner/trainee financial planner, working with Kevin.

Both careers allow me to work directly with different clients on a day-to-day basis and I find it very rewarding to assist in people achieving their aims.

At play

I’ve recently moved to the area with my partner, Michelle, and our little girl, Bella, who is three.

I enjoy spending time with my family, including walks on Dartmoor and the beach. We intend to get a dog at the end of the year that will no doubt increase the walks (and hoovering).

I am a bit of a petrol head and enjoy nearly all aspects of Motorsport, especially spending time out on my motorbike.

I love my football and most other sports and try to keep up with the exercise with the occasional run or bike ride.

Warmth and sunshine, no family dramas - everyone happy, playtime then cuddles with my daughter before bed

In my career

The proudest moment of my career was:

Being promoted to Lettings Manager of a branch in South West London/North East Kent. The highlight of my financial services career so far has been gaining my level 4 diploma.

The three things I love most about my job are:

Meeting new people and hearing about their families and lives – every story is different. Being able to offer reassurance to people who are unsure or confused about their current situation. Forming relationships with clients which lead to a longstanding bond in which they trust their adviser completely.

The types of people I most enjoy working with are:

I enjoy working with all the clients but find it most rewarding to help those who are completely lost with all (or certain) aspects of their financial matters and are truly appreciative of the advice.
