At work

I began working in financial services in 2017 having spent 10 years in estate agency. I quickly gained my DipFA and CeMap qualifications while beginning my career as a paraplanner/trainee financial planner, working with Kevin.

Both careers have allowed me to work directly with different clients on a day-to-day basis and I find it very rewarding to assist in people achieving their aims.

At play

Me and my fiancée, Michelle, moved to Devon in 2017 with our daughter, Bella, having fallen in love with the area every time we came to visit our family. Since then, our family has expanded to include our second daughter, Sofia, and not forgetting our wonderful Golden Retriever, Maisie, who is also our office mascot.

When not rushing around to our girls’ various activities, we enjoy getting out and about including walks on Dartmoor and the local beaches. I am a bit of a petrol head and enjoy nearly all aspects of motorsport, tinkering with my Defender and spending time out on my motorbike.

In my career

The proudest moment of my career was:

Being promoted to Lettings Manager of a branch in South West London/North East Kent. The highlight of my financial services career so far has been gaining my level 4 diploma.

The three things I love most about my job are:

Meeting new people and hearing about their families and lives – every story is different. Being able to offer reassurance to people who are unsure or confused about their current situation. Forming relationships with clients which lead to a longstanding bond in which they trust their adviser completely.

The types of people I most enjoy working with are:

I enjoy working with all the clients but find it most rewarding to help those who are completely lost with all (or certain) aspects of their financial matters and are truly appreciative of the advice.
